About Our Community

Muncy, PA, is a small, picturesque, and historic town of 3,100 situated along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, in Lycoming County.  The town was established  in 1791 and possesses numerous 18th century and Victorian style residences.  Muncy is a family-oriented town, with an excellent school system, a public library, a post office, several thriving downtown banks and businesses, a fire and rescue station, a hospital and skilled Nursing unit, public pool, and a historic movie theatre called The Ritz.
